Extension HNES Description & Details:
The Program Coordinator, under the supervision of the PI for the ND Lives Well grant, is responsible for the day-to-day operations for the program and for facilitating communication between stakeholders and the liaisons for the DHHS regional program directors to help ensure the initiatives meet the grant's overall goals.Program Planning and Execution:
Coordinate the day-to-day operations, logistics, and scheduling of program activities from start to finish: Meet with PI on a regular basis to review progress and updates. Help develop and enhance program training materials and procedures. Schedule and track the train-the-trainer trainings. Devise and develop a systematic implementation of the program and how the school districts will be divided. Perform face to face and zoom curriculum training to agents and school teachers.Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as point of contact for DHHS regional program directors, trainers and develop good rapport with school district contacts: Meet with DHHS regional program directors as need. Answer questions and relay information to trainers. Reach out to school districts with updates regarding training, supplies and procedures.Data and Evaluation:
G ather information and surveys and analyze program data to evaluate impact and prepare reports for management or funders: Analyze and run reports from the online Qualtrics survey data received. Develop and update reporting dashboards for website and funders.Travel:
Local and overnight travel to facilitate trainings, visit partner institutions for annual trainings/workshops and to attend special eventsCustomer Service:
Serve as the point of contact for NDSU's ND Lives Well grant: Contribute to an environment of cooperative, supportive, and positive working relationship with co-workers and departmental personnel Respect and value the creativity and diversity of all persons Resolve differences constructively. Use tact and courtesy, especially under stress Work ethically, respect confidentiality, and adapt to change Provide prompt and effective service through appropriate action to resolve issuesMinimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional level of customer services to a broad variety of contacts and build strong positive working relationships across the organizationPreferred Qualifications:
Major Field of Study or Degree Emphasis:
Nutrition/Dietetics, Education, Business Administration, Project Management, Communication, or related field. 3+ years direct experience in program management. Extension or Higher Education experience Ability to work independently Strategic thinking to align activities with project goals. Pay is based on several factors, including budget, labor market, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and/or certification and other business considerations.Applicant Materials Required:
