About Us Alternative Care Services (ACS) provides short-term crisis management and stabilization services for individuals experiencing acute mental health and/or substance use challenges. Our community-based residential facility supports clients through structured care, goal-oriented interventions, skill development, and continuous safety monitoring. Position Summary The Overnight Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all overnight operations, including direct client care, staff supervision, and administrative oversight. This role serves as the on-shift leader, ensuring safety, clinical support, and adherence to agency policies. The ideal candidate is confident in crisis response, experienced in behavioral health settings, and skilled in staff leadership. Key Responsibilities Client Care & Crisis Management Monitor and support individualized treatment plans and withdrawal management interventions Respond to and de-escalate crises using trauma-informed and person-centered approaches Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant documentation Communicate effectively with internal teams and external providers Facilitate overnight therapeutic groups, structured activities, and client engagement Create opportunities for skill-building and recovery-oriented support Oversee client admissions occurring during the overnight shift Staff Supervision & Program Administration Supervise, mentor, and support overnight staff Ensure compliance with agency policies, procedures, and safety protocols Address shift-related concerns, incidents, and staffing needs in real time Assist with onboarding and training of new staff Collaborate with the Program Supervisor on performance feedback and evaluations Participate in interviewing, hiring, and corrective action planning for overnight staff Attend required monthly staff and leadership meetings Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours program support Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a human services-related field OR a minimum of 3 years of direct experience in mental health and/or substance use treatment and leadership experience Demonstrated knowledge of: Person-centered care Trauma-informed practices Crisis intervention and de-escalation Leadership and staff development Valid driver's license and ability to be insured under agency policy Ability to pass a criminal background check
Pay:
$22.00 - $23.50 per hour
