Job Description

In collaboration with WACHU leadership and the Department of Volunteer Services, the Doula Program Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and management of the Volunteer Doula Program.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in human services, health care, management preferred or equivalent experience and/or training. Must complete Doula Volunteer Training Program, Childbirth Education classes and be mentored by WACHU staff. Minimum of one-year experience or 300 hours of doula service in a hospital setting preferred. Three to five years of supervisory/managerial experience in a health care or human services organization preferred. Specific skills and/or knowledge needed are: excellent administrative, supervisory and interpersonal skills, understanding of CQI process and ability to handle confidential material with maturity, sensitivity and discretion. •
