Two Part-Time After School Program Facilitators Job Summary We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Part-Time After School Program Facilitators to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging environment for youth participants through teaching, youth group activity facilitation, and supporting youth development initiatives. The facilitators will work collaboratively to deliver enriching after-school programs that promote growth, learning, and teamwork. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young people's lives while developing leadership and instructional skills. Responsibilities Facilitate engaging youth group activities that promote teamwork, creativity, and social skills. Lead and support various educational and recreational activities aligned with program goals. Provide instruction and guidance in a manner that fosters a safe, inclusive, and positive environment. Support the planning and implementation of youth development programs tailored to diverse age groups. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations of the after-school program. Maintain open communication with participants, parents, and staff to support participant well-being and program success. Monitor participant behavior and address any issues in a constructive manner. Assist in setting up activity spaces and ensuring all materials are prepared for daily activities. Requirements Experience in teaching or instructing youth in educational or recreational settings. Strong team leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues. Proven experience facilitating youth group activities that promote engagement and development. Knowledge of youth development principles and best practices for working with children and adolescents. Excellent communication skills, patience, and a positive attitude. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment. Prior experience working in youth programs or similar settings is preferred but not mandatory.
