Job Description

Position Summary Accountable for managing the daily operations of the Involuntary Outpatient Commitment program including: ensuring the coordination of patient care processes and outcomes, providing leadership and supervision for Case Managers assuring adequate scheduling. Insures that the IOC program meets its DMHAS contract commitments. Works collaboratively with the Emergency Services staff, 2 Central, psychiatry and the State system of care. Supports the mission, values and philosophy of HMC. Primary Position Responsibilities 1.Accountable for the coordination of patient care though out the Involuntary Outpatient Commitment Program. 2.Reviews records, and maintains standards of
HMC, JCAHO, DOH, NJ
Division of Mental Health & Addiction Services. 3.Provides high quality Case Management and linkage to care. 4.Ensures that the program delivers the contract commitments. 5.Ensures appropriate scheduling of staff within budgetary guidelines, monitoring salary expenses
Qualifications Minimum Education :
Required:
Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Equivalent Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation) :
Required:
Five years clinical experience.
License, Registry or Certification :
Required:
valid Driver's license. Knowledge, Skills and/or
Abilities :
Required:
Excellent Clinical Skills. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Ability to identify and resolve problems. Computer literate, skilled in customer service. Program development. Clinician demonstrates knowledge of evidenced based practices in the provision of care included but not limited to: Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Universal Screening for SUD.
