Overview of the Role Reporting to the PM Head for Global Wealth Management Domains, the Technical Program Management Lead is responsible for the delivery on Global Wealth Management strategy for Investments, Trades, Banking, Lending, trust, Data and Compliance. The role entails good understanding of end-to-end banking knowledge including Operations, Compliance and Audit. You own driving the launch of great customer experiences and digital capabilities for our wealth management business and our most affluent client base. Deliver customer-centric solutions and communications that enable clients to confidently manage their entire financial picture through easy-to-use tools, insights, content, offers, and recommendations. Delivery of programs that provide for a growing digital presence and offerings for our wealth management customers. The Program Group Manager is accountable for management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas. Leads and directs a team of professionals. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function. Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Strong commercial awareness is a necessity. Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication may be necessary. Accountable for the end results of an area. Key Priorities:
Being a strategic partner Be the strategic partner and advisor to the Business and Technology heads for Wealth Management that includes all facets like Investments, Trades, Banking, Lending, trust, Data and Compliance. Ensuring well laid out roadmaps and execution plans for entire book of work for projects / programs under your realms. Responsible for management and execution of operating model routines Obsess about building and shipping great products for our customers with excellence You obsess over customers and always work backwards from them to earn and keep their trust. Being a visionary Program Management Leader that is focused on building high performing PM function As a Manager of others, you lead by influence and set the vision for a bar raising PM function. Manage, mentor and grow the PM leaders of the future. Building and leading a team of PM's that are highly passionate, motivated and smart problem solvers to design future state products and technology solutions. Your teams have a deep understanding of the platform, integration patterns, organizational capabilities, and the company wide assets that can be leveraged to provide rich customer experiences while building technical solutions. Demonstrate an ability to structure an organization and optimize it for execution, including attracting top tier talent and filing out gaps in the existing team quickly to accommodate growth. Partner with fellow PM leaders and heads to ensure alignment and standardization in ways of working Be a change agent. Drive agility, excellence and simplification in ways of working Measure and improve efficiency and effectiveness of processes that are working well and build the next level of improvements, set standards for deployments at scale, infrastructure reliability, security, and scalability. Demonstrate an ability to identify and act upon unique insights and apply them to solve unmet needs and an expertise leveraging/synthesizing competitor, emerging technology, and other marketplace trends to draw out implications to support the team's overall mission and goals Transform the organization into one that drives speed to market and delivers value for our customers in an agile operating model. Champions a culture of high standards, pushes for progress, embraces change and challenges the status quo. Continue to improve the engineering culture across all tech functions. Serve as an evangelist for the team and overall culture, both internally and externally. Being the voice of the teams Responsible for communicating business strategy and goals and how they align to the team's work Provide transparent frequent updates, manage sponsor expectations, and keep all stakeholders informed on Book of Work progress. Creating a culture of transparency and trust Qualifications The ideal candidate will come from an organization with a strong technical program management function and be a visionary leader with deep experience driving technical or engineering programs from ideation to implementation across Investments, Trade, Banking, Lending, Trust, Data, Compliance etc.. Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field. Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred. Hands on experience (8+ years) leading program management function and/or technical teams in areas like Investments, Trades, Banking, Lending, trust, Data, Compliance etc. and good understanding of Operations. 12+ years' experience in enterprise level program management and delivery engineering products at scale. Strong analytical and quantitative skills; Data driven and results oriented. Exceptional strategic analysis, problem solving, issue resolution and decision-making skill. Excellent verbal and written communication skills backed by a strong business and technical vision. Expert knowledge of Agile frameworks like SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, and familiarity with Jira and Confluence tools.Job Family Group:
