Thursday Pay:

$15.00 per hour Position Overview Riverview Bark is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dog Daycare Assistant to support daily operations within our structured daycare program. This role is best suited for someone who is comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, can maintain a controlled environment, and is interested in learning proper handling, behavior, and group management. Duties Supervise and manage groups of dogs to ensure safety and appropriate behavior Monitor dog behavior and health, reporting any concerns to management Assist with opening and closing procedures Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the facility Support structured walks and bathroom breaks (training provided) Assist with client interactions during drop-off and pick-up Capture photo/video content for social media as needed Maintain daily logs and assist with basic administrative tasks Support team operations as directed Optional participation in dog pick-up/drop-off services (additional compensation) Experience Prior dog handling or pet care experience preferred, but not required Comfortable working with all breeds, sizes, and temperaments Calm, assertive, and attentive in high-stimulation environments Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, punctual, and able to follow structured routines Coachable and open to feedback Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods Ability to safely handle dogs in a variety of situations Must own a smartphone and be comfortable using it for basic communication and content capture Familiarity with Instagram/Facebook is a plus Must be 18 years or older Why Join Riverview Bark?
