Job Description

Job Category URA-AFT Administrative Overview The Rutgers Division of Intercollegiate Athletics sponsors 24 intercollegiate sports, comprised of 14 women's and 10 men's programs, that compete at the Division I level. The Scarlet Knights are members of the prestigious Big Ten Conference, the nation's premier academic and athletic conference, after officially joining the league on July 1, 2014. Known as "The Birthplace of College Football, Rutgers hosted Princeton on Nov. 6, 1869 in the first intercollegiate football game, with RU earning a 6-4 victory. Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Program Coordinator II (Compliance Coordinator) for Athletics - Compliance. This position reports to the Executive Senior Associate Athletic Director for Compliance and exists to assist with managing all aspects of compliance monitoring, including, but not limited to, student-athlete forms, recruiting activities, and playing and practice seasons. Among the key duties of the position are the following: Assists coaches in regards to recruiting contact and evaluation logs, reactive call monitoring, and team activity logs. Assists with the compliance oversight of sport programs in regard to NCAA rules education and interpretations, as necessary. Provides game day support at various sporting events. Executes other duties assigned to assist the Office of Athletic Compliance with day-to-day responsibilities.

Position Pension Eligibility:
ABP Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent written and oral communication and organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Moderate working knowledge of NCAA Division I rules. Working knowledge of Word processing, spreadsheets, and databases. Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree and experience using LSDBi. Equipment Utilized Computer to include all Microsoft software, access ARMS/Teamworks. Access to ProhiBet, and access to NCAA applications, and access to Teamworks.
