Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Program Director to join our team. As a Program Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the program operation, development, implementation, and management of the program. This role requires strong leadership skills, program management expertise, and a passion for making a positive impact in the community.
Duties:
  • Develop and implement program strategies and initiatives to meet organizational goals
  • Manage program budgets and ensure effective allocation of resources.
  • Supervise program staff, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure program success
  • Conduct regular evaluations to assess program effectiveness and make necessary improvements
  • Maintain accurate program documentation and reports
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, funders, and other stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in program management
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in a human service field and five years of experience in mental health services, with two years of supervisory experience or possess a professional credential, such as LCSW, licensed professional counselor, licensed assoc. counselor, licensed rehab counselor, LCADC, licensed psychologist with the requisite number of years experience.
  • Proven experience in program management, preferably in the behavioral health or social work field
  • Strong budgeting skills and experience managing financial resources
  • Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable
  • Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Exceptional relationship management abilities to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
