(QMA) is seeking motivated individuals to work with our members with developmental disabilities (ID/DD) as a Support Counselor for Innovative Day Program in Malton, NJ.As Part of our Day Program, Support Counselors are responsible for providing direct support, teaching and coaching participates in the program. This support will involve both in-house and community -based activities. Working on skills development and ability, to manage small groups of people essential. Community Inclusion-participate fully in community activities along with the members. The general responsibilities and duties of Support Counselor include, but are not limited to:- Knowledge of the state regulations applicable to this program
- Provide weekly activities reports (employment, community inclusion, education)
- Cover daily operational duties such as; Community Integration, Educational and skills building activities of daily living.
Job Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of ageMust have a Valid Drivers LicenseA physical and mantoux less than 6 months oldMust have at least 2 years of experience working with ID/DD individuals.WE OFFER
