Schedule Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Job Type Full-Time Work Location On-Site (No Remote Work) Position Summary Spectrum for Living is seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Program Director to assist in the management and daily operations of our Adult Training Center. This leadership role supports the Program Director in ensuring the delivery of high-quality services while promoting the health, safety, personal growth, and well-being of the individuals we serve. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in Day Program operations and/or community-based services for individuals with developmental disabilities and possess strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist the Program Director in the overall management and operation of the Adult Training Center. Ensure individuals participate in meaningful social, recreational, vocational, and community-based activities. Monitor and promote the health, safety, well-being, and quality of life of all individuals served. Provide ongoing assessment, analysis, and follow-up to ensure services meet agency standards and regulatory requirements. Coordinate the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of Individual Service Plans (ISPs), Support Plans, and Behavior Support Plans. Complete and review required documentation, including Daily Training Records (DTRs), monthly reports, incident reports, and other assigned records. Ensure compliance with agency policies, procedures, and all applicable state and federal regulations. Communicate effectively with staff, families, interdisciplinary team members, and community stakeholders. Assist with staff supervision, training, scheduling, and performance management. Participate in meetings, committees, trainings, and other agency activities as assigned. Qualifications Valid, non-probationary driver's license required. Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Previous supervisory experience required. Knowledge of the ISP/IHP process, care planning, and service coordination. Significant experience in Day Program operations and/or community-based services strongly preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational, computer, and multitasking abilities. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred. Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, families, and community partners.
