Job Description

The Gateway Family YMCA is dedicated to strengthening individuals, families and communities through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Program Coordinator will provide support with administrative responsibilities and support the overall day-to-day operations for our School-Age Child Care, Childcare and Summer Camp. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to State Licensing requirements and compliance, Subsidy, receivable collection and billing, and scheduling. This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
Qualifications:
Experience in early childhood or school-age programs with at least 2 years' experience Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic backgrounds. Creativity and strong commitment to program quality and participant engagement. Familiarity with New Jersey childcare licensing regulations and E-Child Care System, a plus. Strong administrative, communication and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task, resolve conflicts and create a mission-driven work culture. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
