Job Description
Where You'll Work As the only not-for-profit, faith-based healthcare system in the area, Dignity Health Nevada, guided by the Adrian Dominican Sisters' vision for over 70 years, continues to serve the Henderson and Las Vegas communities. The Siena Campus, a 326-bed acute care hospital opened in 2000, expanded the services of the Rose de Lima Campus to meet growing healthcare needs. St. Rose Dominican is part of Dignity Health, one of the nation's largest healthcare systems, with over 9,000 physicians, 60,000 team members, and 400 care centers across 22 states, including hospitals, urgent care, imaging and surgery centers, home health, and primary care clinics. Headquartered in San Francisco, Dignity Health is dedicated to compassionate, high-quality care, especially for the underserved. Job Summary and Responsibilities This position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the RED Rose program, including patient intake in person or over the phone, patient assessment, documentation, navigation to appropriate surgeon, radiology or pathology. Refer clients as needed to community resources oncology or other providers. Insure all providers receive payment and all services are tracked for grant reporting. Coordinate the Rose Regatta and other grant requirements. Must be bilingual. Answer and direct multiple telephone calls related to the RED Rose Program. Perform client intake over the phone or in person. Assess clients needs and navigate them into appropriate services including screening or diagnostic mammograms, CBE, ultrasound or biopsy, within 24 hours. Track and coordinate clients scheduled appointments including with the surgeon and radiology; Develop weekly schedules; follow-up with no-shows and rescheduled appointments. Assist the Navigator in processing all documentation and diagnostic results required for each client. Maintain physician contracts and renew in a timely manner Work closely with the Navigator to complete monthly billing process for all providers in a timely manner. Assist with referrals to community resources including Nevada Health Link, Medicaid, oncology, women's health connection, Nevada Health Center, Orion.
Job Requirements Required:
High School Graduate or equivalent A minimum of three (3) years scheduling and/or working in customer service. Experience with fund-raising events. Able to utilize Microsoft Office programs including Microsoft Excel and Word., upon hire Bilingual Spanish Speaking. Ability to work independently and communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Ability to handle eligibility phone calls, community referrals and scheduling appointments.
