Job Description
Program Director for Little Ones Learning Center Job Description Overview We are seeking a passionate Program Director to lead our early literacy program. This includes running 3 weekly sessions for children ages 0-6 with a caregiver, to learn through play, and reading a story and engaging children in a craft/activity. The program director will create a warm and welcoming space for children and their caregivers. This job will be 12-18 hours a week, and decided upon hire. Duties Conduct the weekly sessions Manage the program by checking inventory, maintaining supplies, running the library needs- such as book returns, adding/removing books from inventory, sorting Oversee program needs, monitor data collection efforts, and evaluate outcomes to ensure continuous improvement Help with all fundraisers including prep/cleanup/activities/crafts Collect data using google sheets Run the website, social media pages and community events to increase program visibility and participation Requirements Childhood education Background in working with children Able to lift 50+ pounds Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Comfortable with the use of social media, the G suite, Canva and other data collecting programs
