DESCRIPTION
Assist the Probation Director to develop and update yearly Raise the Age plans for the Albany County Probation Department, Albany County Children and Family Service Department and the Juvenile Detention Facility. Track and manage all Raise the Age data for justification of funds. Complete RFP for all Raise the Age programs. Manage all Raise the Age Programs including regular meetings with providers to include quality assurance. Update Raise the Age budget as for all Raise the Age matters. Meet with Judges and Court staff regarding all Raise the Age programs. Collaboration with Albany County Children and Family Service Department to assist and planning and writing the yearly Supervision and Treatment for Juvenile Programs (STSJP). Provide updates regarding STSJP funding and all funded STSJP positions and programs. Work with DCYF to design, develop and implement programing to Juvenile Justice. Work with DCFY to design, develop and implement programming related to Juvenile Justice. Assist and the preparation and submission of the
OCFS PINS
Plan. Act as a liaison to DCYF and the Juvenile Justice Coordinator. Attend regular meetings with DCFY regarding all Juvenile matters. Provide and analyze Juvenile Justice data. Update and write Juvenile Justice policy as needed. Monitor juvenile matters to ensure adherence to Department objectives and procedures are met. Does related work as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from an accredited college or university with at least a Bachelor's Degree and ten (10) years' experience in a municipal Probation Department, with five (5) of those years administrating NYS Raise the Age Programming. Please upload a resume with this application.

Connors@albanycountyny.gov Candidates will not have to take an exam for this title. This is a Hiring Emergency Limited Placement (HELP) Program-designated title. The HELP Program is a temporary program designed to help local government employers address current staffing issues. Traditionally, the titles filled under the HELP Program required job candidates to compete in a competitive exam to be considered for employment. For the duration of the program, this title will be classified as non-competitive and categorized as a "HELP Program" position. At the close of the program, this position will revert to competitive class status. Employees occupying positions filled through the HELP Program will be granted competitive class status without the need to participate in a competitive exam.
