Job Description
Senior Program Manager (Aerospace & Defense) We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead and execute multiple complex aerospace and defense programs from proposal through production and delivery. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role that serves as the single point of accountability for program cost, schedule, and technical performance. You will manage a diverse portfolio of 10-20 concurrent programs, including new product introductions (NPI) and sustainment efforts, within a fast-paced manufacturing environment producing high-reliability RF and electronic hardware. This role requires strong technical depth, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate seamlessly across engineering, operations, finance, and customers.

On-site only (no hybrid or remote) Key Responsibilities Oversee, direct, and coordinate all activities required to successfully execute assigned programs Ensure program execution aligns with contractual, technical, cost, and schedule commitments Manage programs through the full lifecycle, including: Proposal development & submission Contract negotiation & baseliningPDR, CDR, MRR, TRR
Qualification, validation, production & delivery Conduct detailed program and financial reviews, monitoring earned value, cost performance, and schedules Prepare and present comprehensive program review packages to Senior leadership and customers Serve as the single point of contact for all internal and customer-facing program communications Lead risk and opportunity management efforts across assigned programs Drive continuous improvement by assessing and enhancing program management processes and policies Collaborate with functional and business leadership to align staffing plans, workloads, and execution strategies Partner closely with IPTs, engineers, and manufacturing teams to achieve enterprise cost and schedule objectives Support new business pursuits, forecasting, and technical requirement analysis Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience OR Graduate degree with 10+ years of relevant experience Proven success in technical program management within aerospace, defense, or high-reliability electronics environments Strong background in RF electronics (highly preferred); mechanical familiarity is a plus Experience managing multiple complex programs simultaneously in a manufacturing setting Demonstrated expertise in: Earned Value Management (EVM) Cost and schedule control Program financial accountability Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Costpoint, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with RF/microwave components, electronics design, test, and production Program Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification Active or prior U.S. security clearance background supporting defense or aerospace customers Work Environment This is a 100% onsite role within a standard manufacturing environment. You will have dedicated office space while also working closely with engineers and technicians on the production floor. Success in this role requires comfort communicating with stakeholders at all levels—from shop floor to executive leadership.
