Part Time Description GaelVentures is a community hub for entrepreneurship, innovation, and venture creation and growth. Over the last several years, the Hynes Institute has served students, our local business community, and veteran & women and minority-owned businesses (MWBEs) through the GaelVentures space with mentorship, entrepreneurial resources, and education. The Summer 2026 Incubator program leverages all of the resources available at GaelVentures to support students in launching their ventures. Whether developing a product, service, or side-hustle, this 5-week intensive program is designed to provide Iona students and recent graduates with the resources they need to make their entrepreneurial goals a reality. Through the resources available at GaelVentures, including local experts, the Hynes Institute's mentor network, and the GaelVentures coworking space, founders and teams will develop and launch their products or services. During this intensive 5-week program, participants will meet Monday through Thursday each week at GaelVentures and take a deep dive into market research, customer discovery, and product/service validation & development. Upon completion of the program, teams will have a developed product/service that is tested in the market and ready to launch.
Responsibilities:
Attend all sessions of the program and complete goals and milestones. Contribute positively to the learning environment and the team dynamics. Actively engage and seek feedback and guidance from the speakers and mentors who participate. Share their ideas, challenges, and achievements with the program community. Follow the rules and policies of the Hynes Institute and the location. Respect the instructors, mentors, peers, and guests of the program. Pay - $2500 stipend paid in equal payments overs the duration of the project. Qualifications Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
