POSITION SUMMARY

The Extended School Day Program Director is responsible for the overall management, implementation, supervision, compliance, and quality of the Boys & Girls Club of New Rochelle's New York State Education Department Extended School Day (ESD) Program at Claremont Elementary School in partnership with the Ossining Union Free School District. The program is designed to serve a Target Participation Number of 56 students through high-quality afterschool programming that incorporates academic enrichment, social-emotional learning, arts and culture, physical health and wellness, community and civic engagement, and violence prevention. The Program Manager serves as the primary day-to-day point of contact for the Claremont ESD Program and coordinates closely with BGCNR leadership, Claremont Elementary School administration, Ossining Union Free School District staff, program employees, families, community partners, vendors, fiscal staff, and the independent evaluator. The position combines direct on-site program leadership with year-round administrative responsibilities related to grant compliance, staffing, professional development, program planning, student recruitment and retention, attendance monitoring, data collection, evaluation, budgeting, purchasing, family engagement, and continuous quality improvement.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Minimum of two years of experience in a school-based, community-based, youth development, or out-of-school-time program. Experience coordinating or supervising staff. Demonstrated knowledge of positive youth development and high-quality afterschool programming. Strong organizational and project-management skills. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and compliance requirements. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to establish strong working relationships with school administrators, teachers, families, students, staff, and community partners. Ability to collect, maintain, analyze, and report program data. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, attendance systems, databases, or similar technology. Valid CPR and First Aid certifications or ability to obtain upon hire. Valid driver's license and ability to travel between Ossining and New Rochelle. Ability to complete all required background checks, fingerprinting, and OCFS clearances. Ability to meet all applicable OCFS requirements for the position.

Pay:

$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 29.0 per week
