CAREER EDUCATOR & PROGRAM AMBASSADOR
Job Location:
Field-Based, $53,000-$58,000/Year, Full-Time, Northern New York State Ready4Real is a growing nonprofit that equips young people and adults returning to the workforce with the practical skills, confidence, and support they need to succeed in school, work, and life, and they want you to join their team as a Career Educator & Program Ambassador. Your day-to-day as a
Career Educator & Program Ambassador:
Deliver Ready4Real's career and life-readiness curriculum across multiple school sites in Franklin County Engage students with interactive learning experiences covering emotional intelligence, communication, conflict management, resume writing, and interview preparation Build relationships with program participants to guide their career and life plan Track student progress and document program impact Identify and reach out to new schools and districts as prospective partners Present Ready4Real programming to school administrators, counselors, and community leaders Represent Ready4Real at community events, funder convenings, and school fairs Contribute to grant applications by documenting outcomes, stories, and data from your school sites Your skills and experience: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in education, social work, psychology, communications, or related field Experience working with youth in a school, nonprofit, or community setting Strong presentation and interpersonal skills Ability to travel throughout the Ready4Real service area Comfort with technology and basic documentation tools (Google Workspace, etc.) Teaching certification or classroom experience preferred Salary and benefits: $53,000-$58,000 annually Health insurance, dental insurance, and retirement benefits To apply, send a brief cover letter and resume to Michele Armani, Executive Director, at marmani@ready4real.org.
