Job Description
Community Outreach Program Coordinator - Clinton County 3.1 3.1 out of 5 stars JCEO is a private, not-for-profit Community Action Agency that has been serving Clinton and Franklin Counties in New York State since 1966. Through a comprehensive list of services, JCEO offers a helping hand to the working poor, the elderly, the sick, and the disadvantaged. The Community Outreach Program Coordinator will organize services offered to low-income consumers within Clinton County. These services will include information, referral, Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP), Family Development, Medical Transportation and Emergency Services.

include the following: Oversees the Medicaid Transportation Program Workers in Clinton County. Oversees Community Outreach Workers in Director's absence. Reviews volunteer driver applications and provide volunteer training. Assists the Community Outreach Director with reports to funding sources and refunding application process. Assists the Community Outreach Director with recruitment, interviewing, and selection of employees to fill vacant positions through Applicant Tracking System. Reviews reports and submit in a timely manner. Reviews Emergency Service applications to determine eligibility. Maintains open communication with Community Outreach Program (COP) staff, pertaining to time sheets, monthly reports; including in-kind, community donations and all other information as requested by the Community Outreach Program Director. Supervises and trains staff for the Home Energy Assistance Program. Reviews applications and complete reports as required. Coordinates the Back to School Drive. Develops and maintains all COP spreadsheets. Collaborates with the Christmas Bureau of Clinton County to complete and submit applications for families. Travel is required within service areas. Attends all required training. Complies with all health and safety regulations. Performs all duties in a manner consistent with the mission and goals of the Joint Council for Economic Opportunity of Clinton & Franklin Counties, Inc. Performs all other related duties as assigned. EDUCATION and/orEXPERIENCE
Associates Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 3 years related experience in the delivery of client services and at least one year experience in a supervisory capacity. Family Development Credential preferred.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervision of the Community Outreach Workers, Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) staff, and Medicaid Transportation staff with the direction of the Community Outreach Director. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must possess a valid Driver's License.PHYSICAL DEMANDS
