Job Description

Assists in the maintenance of Moore Counseling & Mediation Services, Inc. (MCMS) Employee Assistance Programs (EAP). Performs direct marketing activities for the EAP services. Recommends changes to programs to meet employee care goals. May provide counseling to employees in the program. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the EAP field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. The EAP coordinators perform many responsibilities to ensure the effective operation of the program. Such as, administering the EAP, obtain new contracts, and perform administrative tasks. Requires excellent management skills and the ability to interact well with employees and management-employee relations professionals. Able to manage your time effectively, as you may need to perform a number of different responsibilities on any given day. The EAP Coordinator must be able to remain calm and professional in such circumstances. DUTIES Schedule counseling sessions (mediations, mandatories, and critical incidents) Schedule mental health and substance abuse assessments. Attend all
MCMS EAP
meetings. Coordinate referrals for outpatient care, including updating notes in the care management database. Oversee planning activities and special programs for employee health and wellness programs. Complete EAP billing for necessary contracts. Oversee all EAP emails. Maintain all quarterly reports meetings to send to designated EAP companies. Assist with marketing EAP services. Assist in managing mandatory referrals. Maintain EAP training schedule for all corporate contracts Provide overview of EAP services at new employee orientation programs and deliver EAP orientations, as needed for MCMS clients. Coordinates visits with all EAP companies to ensure all needs are met. Schedule Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) assessments, as needed with follow-up case management. Create and edit PowerPoints and EAP flyers. Order all EAP marketing items. Attend all EAP company benefit fairs. Maintain the confidentiality, neutrality and integrity of the EAP program. Manage emergency/crisis and on-call needs by contacting and assigning the appropriate counselor. Prepare RFPs for renewal of current clients and potential clients. Provide [weekly] update reports to CEO to share at manager meetings. Ability to travel to multiple locations.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in business, communications or in a related field preferred. 1-3 years of experience the chemical and substance dependency field. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the EAP field. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. CDCA is a plus. SKILLS Organization Attention to
