Job Description

Program Data Assistant Location:
127 South Front Street, Fremont, OH 43420
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday, 34 hours per week
Employment Type:
Year-Round Full-Time The Program Data Assistant supports the Community Development department by maintaining data accuracy, organizing digital content, and assisting with the administration of SharePoint and related systems. This role focuses on carrying out established data procedures, maintaining file structures, preparing standardized reports, and providing first-level technical support to program staff. This is an entry-friendly, detail-oriented position designed to ensure the smooth daily operation of program data and information systems under the guidance of the Program Data Manager. Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education:
Associate's degree in business, finance, or related field.
Experience:
2+ years of experience in working with SharePoint, virtual training platforms, Microsoft suite and a high degree of comfort with Excel; 1+ years of experience data entry, data cleaning, data validation, and use of management information systems software. Demonstrated ability to pay attention to detail, manage projects and tasks, and communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
Additional Requirements:
Must submit to initial and/or periodic state and/or federal criminal checks. Must submit to initial and periodic drug and alcohol testing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain SharePoint libraries and lists by uploading documents, applying metadata, and performing routine cleanup tasks. Enter, update, and verify program data using established standards and templates. Run scheduled pre-built reports and prepare simple datasets for staff and leadership. Maintain training materials, recordings, file metadata, and storage locations. Provide first-level technical support during virtual training (chat monitoring, troubleshooting basics). Assist with attendance logs, evaluation summaries, CEU tracking, and documentation. Help staff with basic data questions, system navigation, and login issues. Perform routine data quality checks and escalate issues to the Program Data Manager. Coordinate with Program Assistants and staff to maintain accuracy of shared materials.
