Job Description for
DAY PROGRAM STAFF
Job Summary:
The main focus of our Day Program Staff member is to assist individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities at our day program in Austintown, OH, and to include ensuring the client's health and safety, independence, and happiness through providing engaging educational and vocational services. The Day Program Staff member may also provide routine transportation services for individuals served to and from the Day Program.
Minimum Requirements:
Must have a valid Ohio Driver's License Must have valid Auto Insurance Must pass all background checks
High School Diploma or GED Day Program Staff Essential Responsibilities:
Maintain health and safety of all individuals served Engage individuals served in daily lessons (various topics) Prepare, serve, and assist individuals served with meals Administer medications per delegated nursing certification Assist with toileting as needed Assist with job coaching Interact in a professional manner with individuals served, guardians, and visitors to the program Timely completion of daily reports/paperwork Excellent communication skills Maintain a positive attitude Escort individuals served on outings and appointments as assigned The Day Program Staff essential responsibilites listed above are not all-inclusive and Accessible Home Services reserves the right to modify position duties for process improvements and business necessities at any time.
