Summary:
A Program Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with objectives set by the company management and contractual commitments made to the customer. The Program Manager is the owner of the business plan and has financial and schedule authority and accountability for the program. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; others may be assigned: Establish the IPTs for specific programs Ensure effective communication of the program objectives and requirements Establish key program deliverables Create and Implement Program Management Plans Establish program schedules and manage schedule adherence Lead decisions for the program in conjunction with Managers and Supervisors from other departments Plan internal tollgates and track progress towards tollgates Manage program changes and impact to budgets and business cases Update KPIs and tracking of program progress Interface with customers managing the deliverables, contractual commitments, specification requirements, gate reviews, schedule status and production forecasts Manage the program risks for all aspects of the programs assigned to Manage the production configuration and program changes following all company processes Manage new program production planning of development, qualification and flight test hardware in conjunction with Engineering and NPD Manufacturing Support Engineering in Test Readiness Reviews, Test Planning, design changes and other aspects as required

Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or equivalent field and 3 or more years of experience in Program, Project, Engineering or other applicable roles.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to develop the strategy for a program Ability to manage a team Proficiency in financial management and project management Ability to negotiate Knowledge of markets, commercial or military products and services Knowledge of the company and its organization, processes and reference systems Proficiency in the legal and contractual aspects of program execution Ability to identify and analyze risks Ability to listen to customers, provide support and ensure their satisfaction (strong sense of customer culture) Planning and reporting tools including MS Products Ability to lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary and Cross functional team Ability to organize and plan projects, including complex collaborative projects with partners Ability to communicate within and outside the company at the highest level Analytical and diagnostic skills Knowledge of certification, including specific commercial or military standards Knowledge of risk management and configuration management Ability to work with others, including in a multicultural, multisite and multinational team Good command of English Methodical and ability to plan ahead Diligence Ability to cope with stress Adaptability and openness to change
