  • 6 pm, some later evening and weekend hours may be required.
Salary:
$50,000

Corvallis Senior Site Director Position Overview:
The Teen Program Manager will work with our 6th
  • 8th grade tween/teen population and is responsible for implementing, tracking and reporting outcome driven programming that aligns with the Boys & Girls Club of Corvallis mission and vision.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Development and Execution (80%) Support in the design and execution of teen programming focused on driving growth in our 6th grade member population while also increasing participation and retention of our 7th and 8th grade populations. Utilize strong rapport building skills to incorporate youth voice in informing the design and implementation of teen programs. Recruitment (10%) Support in the execution of strategic recruitment efforts within the community. External Partnership Development (10%) Identify and steward key external partnerships that support execution of high-quality programming (speakers, external content providers, etc.).
Candidate Qualifications Required:
Pass a background check. BS or BA in Human Development and Family Sciences, Recreation and Education, or any other field of study related to Youth Development Studies. Strong communication skills both written and verbal Highly engaging and outgoing with strong skills in active listening, empathy, motivation, and encouragement Work history that includes roles in youth development programs (YMCA, Boys & Girls Club, Camp Counselor, Outdoor schools, etc.) Must maintain a current CPR/First Aid Certification, current Food Handler Permit, and complete BGCA (Boys & Girls Clubs of America) Safety Module training.
