Job Description
- Key Responsibilities Program Leadership & Oversight Provide day‑to‑day leadership for all
IDD/DDD/ODP
programs, ensuring high‑quality, person‑centered services. Supervise, mentor, and support IDD Specialists and DSP staff. Oversee implementation of ISPs, service delivery expectations, and health/safety requirements. Ensure program operations align with ODP regulations, waiver requirements, and internal policies. Lead program expansion efforts, including new service lines, partnerships, and referral pathways.- Program Growth, Sales & Census Development Drive census growth through proactive outreach, relationship‑building, and referral development.
- Quality Management (QM) & Compliance Lead the agency's Quality Management (QM) plan for IDD programs, including data tracking, analysis, and performance improvement.
- State Reporting, Audits & Program Evaluation Complete and submit all required ODP, DHS, and state-level reports accurately and on time.
- Staff Development & Supervision Provide direct supervision to IDD Specialists, including coaching, training, and performance evaluations. Support DSP onboarding, competency development, and ongoing training needs. Ensure staff understand ISP requirements, documentation expectations, and person‑centered practices. Address performance concerns and implement corrective action when necessary.
- Client & Staff Scheduling Oversight Oversee scheduling processes to ensure adequate staffing and consistent service coverage. Support IDD Specialists in resolving scheduling challenges and maintaining continuity of care. Monitor caseload distribution and staffing patterns to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Community Engagement & Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with Supports Coordinators, SCO leadership, referral sources, and community partners. Attend community events, resource fairs, and IDD‑related activities to promote the program. Represent Aging with Comfort professionally and strategically to support growth and visibility.
- Client Advocacy & Support Promote and protect the rights, preferences, and needs of individuals served. Support individuals and families in navigating resources, services, and community opportunities. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic, person‑centered support.
- Administrative & Operational Responsibilities Ensure accurate, timely documentation in HCSIS and other electronic systems. Oversee incident management processes, including investigations and corrective actions. Provide guidance and support during after‑hours escalations when staff require leadership input. Travel as needed for home visits, meetings, audits, and community events.
- Required Background & Experience Master's or Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate's degree or 60+ credits with extensive IDD experience considered.
HCSIS, EVV
systems, and compliance reporting. Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and ability to pass all required clearances. Willingness to travel and work flexible hours based on program needs.- Schedule Monday-Friday, daylight hours.
