Description Sthenos LLC (PA entity ID on file), doing business as Sthenos Technologies, is a contracted staffing vendor for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is hiring a Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program Specialist for the PA Department of Corrections, SCI Huntingdon, 1100 Pike Street, Huntingdon, PA 16654 (Huntingdon County).
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM with a 1/2-hour unpaid lunch, full-time (40 hours/week).
Duties:
coordinate the facility Medication-Assisted Treatment program for incarcerated individuals with opioid and alcohol use disorders; screen, assess and enroll participants and maintain program rosters and records; coordinate MAT inductions, dosing schedules and continuity of care with medical, psychology, drug and alcohol treatment and security staff; provide individual and group education and support on MAT and recovery; complete documentation, data tracking and program reports; coordinate re-entry planning and warm hand-offs to community MAT providers; and ensure compliance with DOC policy and state and federal regulations.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, human services, nursing or a related field and at least two (2) years of experience in substance use disorder treatment, MAT program coordination or correctional behavioral health; CADC, CAADC, LSW or similar credential preferred; knowledge of buprenorphine, methadone and naltrexone treatment protocols; strong documentation and interpersonal skills; ability to obtain DOC facility clearance. This is a full-time, W-2 contract position through Sthenos Technologies, working on-site at SCI Huntingdon. Sthenos Technologies is the employer of record and pay is processed weekly.
Pay:
$36.00 per hour. Credentialing completed through Sthenos before start: government-issued photo ID; PA State Police criminal background check (ePATCH); FBI fingerprint clearance; PA Child Abuse History Clearance; DOC security clearance; pre-employment physical; TB screening; professional references; pre-employment drug screen.
