Job Description
Pike County Human Services is looking for an organized, detail-oriented Program Coordinator to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who is comfortable with numbers, spreadsheets, and computer systems and who enjoys helping people. You will support programs funded by several state, federal, and county funding sources and grants, working directly with the Executive Director and department staff.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Enter and maintain financial data for program funding streams and assist with invoices, payment vouchers, and reports. Review client files, applications, and payment paperwork for completeness and keep records organized and audit-ready. Enter and update data in the department's case management, forms, and document management systems; scan, index, and file documents. Help maintain spreadsheets and trackers used to monitor caseloads and spending. Answer the Human Services main phone line and provide information and referrals to callers. Meet with clients to help complete program applications, collect and verify income documentation, and schedule appointments and follow-ups. Support other department programs and projects as assigned.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. One year of experience in a professional office environment preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive) required. Working knowledge of QuickBooks Online required. Experience with ClickUp or similar project management software a plus. Experience in Human Services, bookkeeping, or a grant-funded program a plus. Attention to detail and accuracy with numbers and records. Comfortable working with people who present with substance use, mental and behavioral health, and/or are experiencing homelessness. Good written and oral communication skills; comfortable on the phone and with the public. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.WHAT WE OFFER
