Before Summer Program:
Communication with families regarding program Planning for operational needs of program Space requests Food requests Plan and trips, speakers, etc. Liaison between Administration to confirm programming Lead weekly planning meetings Set-up attendance, schedule, and rosters for camp program
During Summer Program:
Communication with families Communication with staff of daily operations Responsible for daily operations of camp Plan/Implement coverage Liaison with the administrative assistant Monitor student progress, attendance, behavior, and overall program effectiveness Ensure alignment with the Girard College Arc of Learning Liaison with residential program staff on any challenges/concerns from overnight MUST be available to be on-site from July 6th-July 17th.
After Summer Program:
Submit end of summer report including but not limited to: Academic results Attendance results Satisfaction surveys from families Satisfaction feedback from scholars Analyze impact of summer program including, but not limited to Comparison of Fall MAP Kickboard Data SEL Surveys/Small Group work All additional duties as assigned and/or arise. Bachelor's degree preferred in Education or related field Experience working in schools, camps, or youth programs Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills Ability to coordinate daily operations, schedules, and staff coverage Experience communicating with families and administration Ability to monitor student attendance, behavior, and program effectiveness Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills Must be available on-site July 6th-17th Required clearances/background checks upon hire
