To oversee and monitor the daily operations of the Residential Treatment Facility for Young Adults (RTFA) Program. To supervise the Team Leaders and/or direct service staff as assigned. Ensure adequate and appropriate service provision to consumers within the specified functional grouping. Ensure compliance with all applicable contract regulations and Agency policies and procedures. To assist with the expansion /growth of the program. Receives general supervision from the Program Director. Supervises and ensures training of Team Leaders and/or direct service staff. Other Responsibilities, but not all-inclusive: •Assist with initial evaluation and admission of prospective client(s) into the program; provide assistance as needed in the completion of intake and placement forms. Ensure that weekly staff/clinical meetings are occurring. Ensure that weekly reports are submitted from the lead counselors for each young adult. Oversee and participate in specific interventions in the home and community according to treatment plans. Supervise and monitor the operation of all assigned programs.
Qualifications:
B.A./B.S.
degree in the social sciences, healthcare, or related field, and at least 2-3 years of experience in the MH/ID field; or any combination of experience, education, or training that would provide the level of knowledge, skill, and ability required. At least 2 years of prior supervisory or management experience in the MH/ID field. Very good communication skills. Very strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize assignments. Possession of a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Current certification in First Aid and CPR or to be awarded within the initial orientation period. They demonstrate crisis intervention/prevention and de-escalation skills.
Scope:
Frequent talking and listening. Requires the ability to lift, carry, fold, kneel, reach, stack, stoop, and bend, which may include direct intervention with clients. Must be available for local travel. Possess manual dexterity and fine motor skills. May require crisis intervention in emergencies. May carry a beeper during regularly scheduled working hours and scheduled emergency on-call rotation. May be required to attend training to become a certified agency investigator. May conduct investigations and participate in the agency's on-call investigator rotation. This requires carrying a beeper and responding to investigation hotline calls during on-call beeper coverage.
