Job Description

Make an Impact Where It Matters Most Join our team as a 988 Crisis Hotline Program Supervisor and play a vital role in supporting life-saving crisis intervention services in our Community. In this role, you'll guide and mentor a dedicated team of counselors, ensuring high-quality support for individuals in moments of urgent need. This is an opportunity to combine clinical expertise with leadership, shaping both staff development and service excellence. What You'll Do Supervise and support a team of up to ten 988 Counselors through regular check-ins and scheduled supervision sessions Provide real-time guidance during shifts to ensure effective crisis response Review call documentation and complete quality assurance evaluations to maintain high service standards Assign, monitor, and close follow-up and outreach cases Participate in team and group supervision meetings, contributing to a collaborative and supportive environment Mentor and onboard new counselors, fostering professional growth Assist in coordinating the 988 training program in conjunction with the Training Manager Provide phone coverage for 988 services as needed Cover one Nassau County Helpline one shift per week Participate in shared overnight on-call responsibilities Engage in staff and program meetings and support ongoing program development What You Bring Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality care Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in fast-paced environments Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities Comfort navigating digital platforms and documentation systems A collaborative mindset with a passion for mentorship and team development Can provide open and honest feedback in a courteous and professional manner Qualifications LMSW or LMHC required Experience in crisis intervention and/or supervision preferred Schedule & Work Environment Hybrid schedule with in-office presence in Bellmore, NY three days per week Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed
