Outreach Specialist Job Duties:
This position provides critical support to the Center for Innovative Transition, Education, and Employment's (CITEE) research and grant initiatives through comprehensive data management, project coordination, and cross-project operational support. The role ensures data integrity, oversees workflow processes, and advances outreach activities that strengthen CITEE's partnerships across local, regional, and state communities. The position reports to the CITEE Research and Data Manager, with secondary reporting to the Director of Educational Outreach depending on project needs. The individual in this role will foster effective communication, streamline data processes, and ensure access to CITEE programs and services for diverse audiences. This is a full-time, fixed term terminal academic staff position with renewal expected based on funding. Data Integrity Management and Coordination (60%) Review, manage, and approve data inputs across CITEE projects, including oversight and task coordination for student data entry workers. Design, manage, and refine database inputs and data systems to support multiple research and grant initiatives. Manage end-to-end data workflow for academic certificates, including accuracy verification, entry into central database, routing through DocuSign, and secure archiving in SharePoint while upholding rigorous data integrity standards. Serve as a liaison with clinical/partner sites to streamline new-hire onboarding by scheduling interviews, generating and distributing employee IDs, and providing clear process guidance. Ensure validity, completeness, and proper formatting of certificate data entered via Qualtrics survey platform. Design, maintain, and update the department's public-facing WordPress website to ensure accessibility, accuracy, and alignment with CITEE's mission. Individual Program Coordination (30%) Directs the implementation of program policies and procedures to ensure operational consistency and compliance. Identifies, promotes, and maintains internal and external partnerships to promote the outreach programs. Coordinate program logistics by scheduling events and managing resources to support program delivery. Organize day-to-day activities for program staff, students, and community volunteers to ensure smooth program execution. Identify opportunities to improve existing programs and contribute to the development of new outreach initiatives. Other Activities (10%) Manages multiple priorities, deadlines, and completing tasks effectively and efficiently with attention to detail. Completes required paperwork and reports in a timely manner. Complies with all University, partner agency, state and federal regulations, confidentiality requirements and compliance regulations. Participates in all required team meetings, including virtual and on campus meetings, and other CITEE projects as assigned. Provide support to CITEE leadership and the institution as designated.

Compensation:
$50,000-60,000 annually, actual hiring salary based on experience related to the position.
Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in an area related to the duties of the position. At least two (2) years of full-time professional experience working with data management, data administration, and/or information collection systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
A valid driver's license and/or ability to travel and meet driver authorization for the State of Wisconsin and /or travel independently is preferred. Experience across common platforms, including those utilized to perform position tasks successfully. Experience providing customer service-level communication to internal and external partners. Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively with individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
Additional information:
This position is classified as fully remote, with periodic need to travel to UW-Milwaukee campus locations to attend meetings or complete other tasks. Travel requirement is less than 25% of the time. How to
