Job Description We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Day Services Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating daily activities and providing support to high school students and young adults in our transition program. Available Position:

Full-time; 40 hours per week Monday-Friday 7:30 am to 3:30 pm with some Saturdays as needed

Wage:

From $18.75 per hour

Hiring Bonus:

$1,000 (paid in one installment upon completion of 6-months continued employment) As the Day Services Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in creating a supportive and inclusive environment. You will collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals to develop and implement engaging activities, ensuring that each participant's needs and interests are met. Additionally, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the program, ensuring a smooth and effective program delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Direct Services Coordinators address the wants and needs of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, which include: Promote and encourage community integration and socialization opportunities in a positive manner. Coordinate daily activities for participants in the day program Multi-taking and excellent time management skills

Requirements:

At least 1 year of experience working with folks with intellectual and developmental disabilities or related experience Must be at least 19 years of age Completion of High School Diploma or GED Possess a valid driver's license and current auto insurance Pass all background checks: criminal, DMV, dependent adult and child abuse registry On the job training: in-person and on-line Compassionate and patient demeanor

• Ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities Ability to work independently and as part of a team
