Director of AmeriCorps VISTA Program Transform Mid-Atlantic, Inc. Frederick, MD 21701 Hybrid work $60,000 a year - Full-time $60,000 a year - Full-time Director of Transform Mid-Atlantic AmeriCorps VISTA Program (DAVP) Transform Mid-Atlantic (TMA) is seeking a Director for its well-established, dynamic AmeriCorps VISTA program that annually places 30 VISTA national service volunteers to serve with anti-poverty projects at college and university campuses, as well as community nonprofits, in the Mid-Atlantic region. The Director of TMA's AmeriCorps VISTA AmeriCorps VISTA program (DAVP) will develop a pipeline of subgrantee applications each year, guide the recruitment process to identify and onboard VISTA members, oversee the cohort of VISTA members in close consultation with individual project supervisors, assess the VISTA program's impact, and manage all aspects administering the federal grant on behalf of TMA and its subgrantee VISTA sites. The DAVP is responsible for the day-to-day management of the program throughout the grant year, and for envisioning and implementing an updated program plan and structure that centers TMA's mission and vision. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of higher education and civic and community engagement in a role that shapes and strengthens impactful anti-poverty projects, fosters meaningful collaborations and dialogue, and supports the professional development of a vibrant cohort of VISTA national service volunteers. The DAVP reports to the Executive Director and is a full-time (40 hours per week) position. Required Qualifications The successful candidate will have a master's degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the non-profit and/or education sectors.
