Job Description

The National College Credit Recommendation Service (NCCRS), a program of the University of the State of New York, Regents Research Fund, seeks a dynamic individual interested in joining our organization as an Evaluation Associate. In this role, the applicant will contribute to the success of an innovative, nationally recognized academic evaluation service that links workplace and nontraditional learning to college-level learning. Evaluation associate responsibilities include coordinating and supervising academic reviews, making presentations, engaging in new business development, preparing reports, assisting in marketing and communications initiatives, and providing member services. The position entails a 4-day (30 hour) schedule, in office and partial telecommute. Work travel is required (10%-15%). Candidates should have a valid passport and New York State Driver's License. The NCCRS office is in downtown Albany, NY.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Education or related field is required, a Master's degree in Education or related field is preferred; experience in a higher education setting preferred with working knowledge of college-level learning, assessment and accreditation standards, credit for prior learning, curriculum development, and education policy; ability to interact with high-level decision makers in private industry, institutions, and government organizations required; understanding of nontraditional pathways to degree completion and sensitivity to the needs of adult learners and nontraditional students necessary. Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required. Candidate must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
