job summary: Are you looking to bring your research ethics expertise to an elite, forward-thinking sports innovation environment? A Global Leader in Athletic Innovation is seeking a Human Research Coordinator for a hybrid role in Beaverton, OR (with Fridays WFH). You will champion athlete protection and research integrity, ensuring a rapid yet compliant pace for cutting-edge sports science discoveries.
location:
Beaverton, Oregon job type: Contract salary: $50.00 - 58.66 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: Bachelors responsibilities: Support Institutional Review Board (IRB) administrative processes and provide pre-review of research applications. Serve as the primary point of contact for investigator compliance consultations and educational outreach. Audit and align diverse sports science research disciplines with federal and organizational athlete protection standards. Conduct risk assessments regarding human subjects and recommend strategic pathways for compliance. Facilitate semi-annual training programs and manage critical compliance data and records.
qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in a scientific, biomedical, or health field with 5-7 years of Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) experience. Deep expertise in research ethics and federal human subject regulations (HHS and FDA). Proven experience working directly with or as a member of an IRB. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to deliver presentations to technical experts.
Preferred:
Certified IRB Professional (CIP) designation. Experience utilizing Airtable or advanced database management systems. #LI-MH1 skills: Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
