Job Description
- Provide overall program coordination for a set number of education abroad opportunities Advise students on program and curricular requirements, application process, health and safety, cross-cultural communication, travel planning, and personal support measures Hold advising hours and respond to inquiries from students by email, phone or by appointment Contribute to overall IPE marketing, outreach and enrollment goals Maintain detailed print and electronic information on programs, international partners, and student records Administer student assessment, gather feedback, and provide suggestions for continued program development and improvement Represent IPE through presentations, workshops, and events Maintain positive, frequent, and meaningful engagement with partners to support international experiences for students You are encouraged to visit this site to read a complete list of responsibilities.
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of demonstrated experience in education abroad, higher education, college student advising or an equivalent combination of work and education experience Experience living abroad, studying abroad or knowledge of language(s) other than English Experience presenting information to others Project management experience with the capability to maintain several projects simultaneously Experience working collaboratively as part of a team in an enthusiastic student-centered environment Computing and technology skills which include working with and learning new software and web-based application systems Willingness to participate in occasional travel and irregular hours (some evenings and weekends) Modes of Work Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department.
