This position may allow hybrid work for a portion of the work schedule up to 90% depending on the employee's preference and needs of the Prevention Board. Employees need to report to the 201 W. Washington Ave. Ste. 815 Madison, WI office on their first day for onboarding and orientation. Position Summary This position is responsible for managing and coordinating assigned grants and has significant autonomy to formulate, develop and monitor contracts. This position is responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to align training initiatives and logistics. In addition, this position will coordinate and/or facilitate technical assistance for grantees and community partners, aligning the technical assistance with the Prevention Board's Community Investment Plan and Policy Agenda. View the complete position description. Salary Information The classification title for this position is Human Services Program Coordinator - Senior. The starting salary is between $30.00 and $39.00 per hour ($62,400 and $81,120 annually), depending on qualifications. Pay for current State of WI employees will be based on the compensation plan in effect at the time of the appointment. Pay for current state employees who are transferring will be determined based upon the pay on transfer rules (higher level duties or equity) as outlined in the compensation plan in effect at the time of appointment. The pay schedule/range is 07-03. A one-year probationary period may be required. Job Details Due to the nature of the position, final candidates may be required to allow The Prevention Board to conduct a security background check to determine whether the circumstances of any pending charges or convictions would be substantially related to the job being filled. Applicants must be legally entitled to work in the United States (i.e., a citizen or national of the U.S., a lawful permanent resident, an alien authorized to work in the U.S. without Prevention Board sponsorship.) The Prevention Board does not sponsor visas, either at time of hire or at any later time. Qualifications Minimally qualified applicants will have: Experience collaborating across multiple agencies and partners (state, tribal, local agencies, contracted agencies, grantees, etc.). Experience coordinating grant activities; including developing application forms, determining competitive grant review criteria, negotiating grant terms and conditions, etc. Experience coordinating and/or facilitating in-person and virtual trainings and meetings.
Well-qualified applicants will have:
Experience providing technical assistance to grant recipients (e.g. providing assistance on budgets or financial reports, explaining federal and state guidelines, etc.) Experience coordinating multiple professional development offerings including analyzing and implementing satisfaction feedback. Experience analyzing grantee feedback and recommending/implementing changes to programming based on feedback.
