Job Description

Coordinator CASA of East Ohio - Harrison, Carroll, & Tuscarawas Counties CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is seeking a passionate and organized Volunteer Coordinator to recruit, train, and support community volunteers who advocate for children involved in abuse and neglect cases. Primary Responsibilities
  • Recruit and onboard CASA volunteers throughout Harrison, Carroll, and Tuscarawas Counties
  • Conduct community outreach and represent CASA at events and speaking engagements
  • Coordinate volunteer training, orientation, and continuing education
  • Manage volunteer screening processes, including interviews and background checks
  • Provide ongoing support, mentorship, and retention efforts for volunteers
  • Maintain volunteer records, training documentation, and program compliance
  • Collaborate with staff and community partners to strengthen volunteer engagement and program growth Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, nonprofit management, or related field preferred
  • Experience in volunteer coordination, community outreach, training, or nonprofit work preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and public speaking skills
  • Passion for child advocacy and working within the community
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for trainings and events What We're Looking For
