POSITION SUMMARY
Generation W Inc. is a nonprofit service organization focused on educating, inspiring, and connecting women and girls. It is dedicated to building community, bringing people together, and advancing and enhancing their lives. Generation W has developed and executes several programs, including Generation W, Generation WOW, Generation WORKS, and WOWsdom! Generation WOW is a program specifically devoted to the support and growth of teen girls. By exposing girls to the positive and the possible, Generation WOW creates opportunities that help build the future leaders of the world by connecting them to the leaders of today. Focused on self-confidence, independence, healthy living, leadership, and mentorship, the goal of Generation WOW is to provide a trusted and inspiring experience that will forge relationships, inspire dreams, and deliver results that enhance lives. The Generation WOW Program Coordinator is responsible for helping to deliver Generation WOW programs to teen girls in support of the difference-making goals of helping to educate, inspire, and connect these girls to a stronger, more self-confident tomorrow with a pathway to success both personally and professionally. The Generation WOW Program Coordinator will bring an energetic, can-do attitude and commitment to excellence. Working directly with the WOW Program Manager or the COO, the individual will help provide programmatic and operational leadership and support to Generation WOW. The Program Coordinator will collaborate with the Generation W staff to ensure the overall success and integration of Generation WOW initiatives within the broader organizational strategy.DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES
Listed below are the major duties and responsibilities of this position:- Collaborate with the Program Manager to execute Generation WOW core programs, including the Gen WOW experience, school-based initiatives, special programs, and WOW features in Generation W programming.
- Contribute to the development of new initiatives that align with the strategic goals of Generation WOW.
- Contribute to the monitoring and reporting of metrics for all Generation WOW programs.
- Visit school-based programs with the Program Manager to work with facilitators, students, and gain a firsthand understanding of the programming.
- Coordinate forms and record collection to facilitate ease of reporting, tracking, and measurement.
- Provide project and event coordination, including annual events, quarterly/special events, alumni engagement events, committee and advisory board meetings, and volunteer gatherings.
- Assist in the development and facilitation of all training required for WOW program participants, facilitators, mentors, and volunteers, as appropriate.
- Support and assist with the Generation WOW Mentorship Program, including communication with mentors and mentees, data tracking and software upkeep, and overall program coordination.
- Assist in the development and coordination of the Generation WOW Alumni Program, including communication, engagement efforts, and event execution.
- Support and assist social media efforts related to Generation WOW programming, including content coordination, storytelling, and program visibility.
- Assist in maintaining and updating the Generation WOW informational hub/website, ensuring content is current, accurate, and reflective of program offerings and impact.
- Work with the Generation WOW development team and Program Manager to support mentorship program logistics, including recruiting mentors, pairing, onboarding, training, support, and reporting.
- Support and assist the entire Generation W team as requested, including development/fundraising, marketing, event planning, and general operational support.

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university. One or more years working with or for a non-profit or community service organization. Experience in teaching and/or facilitating groups with successful outcomes. Experience in youth development programming and comfortable working with teens. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn. Proficient in technology, including business applications, social media applications, and presentation design software like Canva. Must be able to travel locally and regionally to support and represent the organization at key events, trainings, and programs. Skilled in creating, formatting, and editing professional documents, presentations, and marketing collateral. Experience managing and maintaining Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to track engagement, update contact records, and generate reports.GENERATION W VALUE SET
