Pay:
$30.00-$34.00 per hour
Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours per week Position Summary On the Margins Therapy & Psychological Services is seeking a compassionate, organized, and relationship-centered Program Facilitator to support the coordination and delivery of community-based mental health, leadership, and wellness programs. This position reports directly to the Director of Community Engagement and plays an essential role in ensuring that programs are implemented with excellence while creating welcoming, culturally responsive, and healing-centered experiences for participants. The Program Facilitator will coordinate and support the implementation of up to four programs simultaneously, working closely with facilitators, community partners, and participants from initial planning through program completion. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to balance program logistics with meaningful community engagement. This is a 40-hour-per-week position with a flexible schedule . Because many of our programs are designed to accommodate working families, youth, and historically marginalized communities, regular afternoon and evening availability is required. Occasional Saturdays are also required for retreats, workshops, community events, trainings, or special programming. Essential ResponsibilitiesProgram Coordination Coordinate logistics for up to four active community-based programs at a time. Maintain program calendars, implementation timelines, participant rosters, and communication schedules. Coordinate meeting locations, meals, childcare arrangements, transportation support, interpretation, accessibility needs, and other participant supports. Prepare program materials, supplies, workshop resources, and technology. Communicate program updates, assignments, and logistical needs to facilitators and internal staff. Monitor deadlines and follow up on outstanding program needs. Program Delivery Attend and support program sessions, workshops, retreats, and community events. Welcome participants and help create inclusive, culturally responsive, and healing-centered environments. Support room setup, participant check-in, technology, food distribution, and cleanup. Provide logistical support to facilitators during programming. Assist with program activities or co-facilitation when assigned and appropriately trained. Respond to participant needs and elevate concerns to the appropriate supervisor. Participant Engagement Serve as a primary point of contact for program participants. Build trusting relationships through consistent, compassionate, and professional communication. Conduct participant outreach by phone, email, text message, and in-person engagement. Support participant recruitment, enrollment, orientation, attendance, and follow-up. Communicate program expectations, schedule changes, available supports, and participation requirements. Identify barriers to participation and coordinate appropriate support with the program team. Program Administration and Documentation Maintain accurate attendance records, participant files, consent forms, and program documentation. Enter, update, and review participant and program data. Protect participant confidentiality and follow organizational privacy and data security practices. Support surveys, evaluations, outcome tracking, and program reporting. Track supplies, participant stipends, gift cards, receipts, and program expenses. Assist with purchases and expense reconciliation in coordination with operations and finance teams. Maintain organized documentation required for grant reporting and compliance. Community Collaboration Develop positive working relationships with community partners, facilitators, vendors, and referral organizations. Represent On the Margins professionally at programs, meetings, and community events. Support outreach, presentations, tabling, and other community engagement activities. Collaborate with staff across programs, clinical services, operations, and leadership. Participate in staff meetings, program planning sessions, and required trainings. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, social work, public health, community health, education, or a related field preferred. Relevant professional, volunteer, educational, and lived experience will also be considered. At least two years of experience in program coordination, community engagement, education, behavioral health, youth development, or related work. Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills. Ability to coordinate multiple programs, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Experience building relationships with participants and community partners. Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and virtual meeting platforms. Bilingual English and Spanish preferred. Experience working with diverse communities using trauma-informed, healing-centered, and culturally responsive practices. Ability to handle confidential participant information with care and discretion. Valid driver's license, access to reliable transportation, and ability to travel locally, if required. Schedule and Travel Full-time, 40 hours per week. Flexible schedule based on program needs. Regular afternoon and evening availability is required. Occasional Saturday availability is required for workshops, retreats, trainings, and community events. Weekend and evening hours will be included within the employee's regular 40-hour workweek unless additional hours are approved in advance. Local travel throughout Sonoma, Marin, and neighboring counties may be required. Approved work-related mileage will be reimbursed in accordance with organizational policy.

Compensation and Benefits Competitive Compensation:
$30.00-$34.00 per hour, depending on relevant experience, qualifications, and bilingual proficiency.
