Job Description
Honeywell UOP LLC is seeking a Program Manager to join its team in a hybrid role based in Rosemont, Illinois or Houston, Texas. As a leader on the project execution team for modular equipment projects, you will leverage your project management expertise and technical knowledge to lead projects from initiation through completion, delivering fully assembled modularized units on schedule. This is a highly visible role requiring an ambitious and results-driven Program Manager who can effectively engage with clients, senior leadership, and cross-functional project teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong multitasking abilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and a desire to build a long-term career within a global organization. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage the activities of a project team throughout the life cycle of a project, from start to close-out phases Implement and monitor work plans and schedules (integrate Engineering, Procurement, and Fabrication/Construction) and recommend staffing requirements Review performance data (financial, budget, sales, and activity reports) to monitor and measure productivity, goal progress, and activity levels Manage and coordinate meetings with clients Meet with subcontractors and service providers to determine requirements and ensure implementation Track and control costs while remaining within budget Review design documents for conformance and accuracy Manage meetings, meeting reports, and O&M manuals Manage COs, shop drawing reviews, punch lists, and project close-out Travel required: 35% Must Have 10 years of project management experience College degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering Site/construction and/or engineering management experience with major EPCs, as well as construction scope definition for refining, petrochemical, or gas processing plants We Value Demonstrated leadership qualities, including the ability to manage complex, multi-dimensional customer interactions Exceeding internal and external customer expectations and comprehensive problem-solving skills Strong written and oral communication skills, particularly in cross-functional collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation Effective organizational skills and experience, preferably in an international, multi-site, and multicultural business environment Detailed experience with process engineering, planning, cost estimating, scheduling, procurement, and customer and change order management in refining, petrochemical, or gas processing Ability to influence and energize others, as well as improve performance, meet commitments, and achieve results Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Microsoft Project Master's degree and project management certification (preferred) MBA (preferred) The annual base salary range for this position is $144,000 to $180,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
