Program Manager Who We Are:
Meet the Moment New Hampshire is a nonprofit initiative designed to strengthen the progressive ecosystem in New Hampshire by prioritizing the economic issues shaping family budgets - housing, healthcare, energy, childcare, education, and more - and promoting solutions that appeal broadly to Granite Staters. The work will center on building the civic infrastructure and engagement needed to win both legislative fights and elections with a clear, pragmatic economic narrative. About the
Role:
Meet the Moment seeks a highly organized Program Manager to help the organization operate effectively and get things done. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing relationships, keeping projects moving, and translating big-picture goals into clear plans and actions. Organizing constituents and voters to build political will is fundamental to our organization's success. We are looking for an individual who understands grassroots organizing strategy and the operations needed to meet program goals. This full-time position will be based in New Hampshire.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with Meet the Moment leadership and stakeholders to design and implement targeted voter contact, constituent mobilization, electoral, and legislative advocacy programs; Track timelines, deliverables, and action items to ensure nothing falls through the cracks; Identify challenges early and proactively problem-solving to keep work on track; Coordinate internal resources to ensure timely, high-quality progress to goals; Plan and lead efficient, well-run meetings that drive decisions and next steps; Develop tools and systems to ensure metrics and outputs are being tracked across the organization's programs.
Qualifications :
2+ years of relevant experience in project, program, or campaign management, grassroots organizing, advocacy, or a related field; Demonstrated experience in the nonprofit or progressive social justice sector; Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail; Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through consistently; A proactive, self-starter mindset with a willingness to take on increasing responsibility; Proven ability to motivate and manage a diverse staff team; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Willing to work campaign hours, including some nights and weekends; A collaborative approach and comfort working across teams in hybrid and remote work environments. Passionate about progressive politics and committed to working to advance social justice through public policy.
Compensation:
Annual salary: $70,000-$90,000. This position is eligible for paid time off and health insurance benefits. Salary is commensurate with experience.
