In this vital role, you will coordinate care services, manage staff teams, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and promote a nurturing environment for residents. Your leadership will help enhance the quality of life for individuals with diverse needs, including those requiring memory care, dementia support, and long-term assistance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents while fostering a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and monitor personalized care plans tailored to each resident's needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care strategies. Supervise and support care staff, ensuring high standards of service delivery and adherence to resident rights and safety protocols. Coordinate daily operations within the facility, including medication administration, health regulation compliance, and emergency response procedures. Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, staff schedules, incident reports, and regulatory compliance using Microsoft Office tools. Manage facility budgets, oversee financial management tasks, and ensure efficient resource allocation aligned with healthcare financial policies. Facilitate communication between residents, families, healthcare providers, and community services to promote holistic care. Ensure staff training on disability services, long-term care regulations, dementia care techniques, and medication management to uphold best practices. Qualifications Proven experience in nursing home administration or residential care home management with a strong background in senior and long-term care settings. Extensive knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's support strategies, resident's rights, and health regulation policies. Demonstrated supervisory experience managing multidisciplinary teams in assisted living or group home environments. Familiarity with healthcare financial management, budgeting processes, and operational management within long-term care facilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes. Strong leadership skills combined with excellent communication abilities to foster teamwork and resident satisfaction. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in disability services is highly desirable.
