  • Family Support & Grants (Everyday Wishes Program) Make a meaningful impact. Join a mission-driven nonprofit supporting families of children who are medically fragile, chronically ill, or living with life-threatening conditions. For over 34 years, we've provided critical financial assistance and support to families in need. We're seeking a Program Manager
  • Family Support & Grants to coordinate funding programs, manage grant distribution, and serve as a key point of contact for families and partners.
Work Environment Hybrid:
Work from home with some in-person responsibilities Home visits in Nassau & Suffolk County, NY Equipment provided for remote work Participation in fundraising events and community outreach Key Responsibilities Serve as primary contact for families, care managers, and agencies regarding funding requests Guide applicants through available funding programs and application processes Coordinate and process grant and reimbursement requests, including Review Committee preparation Submit required trackers to OPWDD and ensure compliance with all regulations Manage fund distribution (reimbursements and direct payments) and maintain accurate reports Complete and submit all required reports to public and private grantors Maintain ongoing communication with families regarding funding status Track and update client and program data Assist with fundraising events, outreach, and community engagement Attend meetings and support program operations as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred
NYS OPWDD
experience strongly preferred Background in healthcare, social services, or nonprofit programs Bilingual (Spanish) preferred Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Salary $50,000
