Summary:
The main function of a non-IT program manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, etc or any other non-IT based project.
Core Responsibilities & Experience Program Leadership:
5 - 7 years experience leading complex, cross-functional programs from initiation to closure, collaborating with executive stakeholders to define scope, objectives, and success criteria.
Timely Delivery & Execution:
Drive progress and ensure on-time delivery across multiple interdependent projects, proactively managing dependencies and risks using tailored project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
Track and report project health with dynamic dashboards and KPIs, providing clear insights on progress, resources, budget, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership.
Data Integrity & Compliance:
Ensure accuracy and compliance of program data through rigorous validation, troubleshooting, and resolution of data issues to support reliable decision-making.
Independent Action & Follow-Through:
Manage follow-ups, dependencies, and action items across teams independently, holding owners accountable and driving closure on critical tasks.
Stakeholder & Partner Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners, managing expectations, communicating program status, and facilitating alignment for successful outcomes.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field. PMI or PMP certification preferred.
