Senior M365 Consultant Bulb Digital Grand Rapids, MI Job Details Full-time $110,000 - $140,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Parental leave Vision insurance 401(k) matching Professional development assistance Flexible schedule Retirement plan Qualifications Consulting experience Client services experience within consulting industry Decision making Microsoft Teams SharePoint Workshop facilitation Leadership Information management Information architecture Consulting firm experience Full Job Description Bulb Digital helps organizations make Microsoft 365 actually work for the way their people work. That usually means a mix of strategy and hands-on delivery: intranets, Teams and SharePoint structure, governance, adoption, and practical workflows that reduce friction. We are looking for a Senior M365 Consultant who can lead client engagements. You will not be doing this alone. You will lead a small Bulb project team and coordinate across the roles needed to deliver the work. What you will do Lead discovery: interviews, workshops, environment reviews, and "how work gets done" mapping Turn ambiguity into a clear plan: recommendations, roadmaps, information architecture, and phased execution Design and implement Microsoft 365 solutions (often SharePoint and Teams, sometimes Power Platform) Build the foundation: governance, permissions, content structure, navigation, templates, standards Guide adoption: training, enablement, playbooks, and rollout support Leading the team is part of the job In this role, you will own the success of projects by leading a cross-functional Bulb team (developers, designers, architects/admins, content strategy) and partnering with business owners and subject matter experts on the client side. You will remove blockers, keep everyone aligned, and keep delivery moving. You will also be the primary point of contact for the client, advocating for their needs to the team and translating technical decisions into plain language. What we are looking for (must-haves) Strong Microsoft 365 experience, especially SharePoint Online and Teams (and how they fit together) Experience leading client engagements, including workshops and decision-making You can translate between business needs and technical choices without losing people Strong communication skills, you keep things clear and keep momentum going Organized and comfortable owning outcomes, not just completing tasks Bonus points Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) Governance, security, and information management experience Intranet and digital workplace experience (navigation, publishing workflows, content operations) Experience coaching clients through change (adoption strategy, champions, training programs) Microsoft certifications (helpful, not required) How we work This is a hybrid role based in Grand Rapids with some work-from-home flexibility. Some client travel may happen depending on the engagement. Why Bulb We work collaboratively with clients, and we care a lot about how we show up while doing it: make others successful, be kind and optimistic, embrace the unknown, be unquestionably fair, and fail forward. This role isn't for everyone. We're looking for someone who has intentionally chosen this type of work and is excited about it. Someone who enjoys leading projects, working directly with clients, and figuring things out when the path isn't obvious. If you're applying, we expect that you've taken a little time to understand who we are and how we work, and that this feels like a strong fit for you.
