Tech7 is seeking a Sr. Program Manager to join our team. The Sr. Program Manager will oversee the development and execution of a complex services contract with SSC/CG (Milcomm & PNT) for the U.S. Space Force. This role involves team leadership, mentoring, customer engagement, coordinating program deliverables and maintaining compliance with the prime contract, ensuring work meets security and regulatory standards, while also ensuring alignment of all activities to the customer mission objectives and operational priorities. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, understands the value of fostering exceptional company culture, a solid understanding of U.S. Space Force and other related customer needs, technical or program experience in the Space Domain, and has proven experience as a Program manager within space communities. The position can be remote, onsite, or hybrid based on the customer requirements local to the El Segundo, California area.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage complex program schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure timely and successful execution of objectives on a task order valued between $100M
  • 200M.
Coordinate cross-functional activities within Tech7 stakeholders and other program leaders to ensure program success. Manage supplier performance on the contract. Monitor program performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure mission continuity. Develop and maintain program documentation, including plans, reports, and briefings, to ensure transparency and accountability. Ensure compliance with security protocols, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies in all program activities. Support hands-on activities related to successful delivery of services. Lead program reviews and status meetings, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and stakeholder expectations. Keep Tech7 senior leadership apprised of program performance and collaborate across the company to ensure program success. Foster a culture of teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement within customer's organization and the cross-geography Tech7 program team. Effectively supervise, mentor, and lead Tech7 employees and team. Act as a hiring manager for positions within the supervisory chain. Be a representative of Tech7's culture in all activities with employees, customers, and partners.
Additional Responsibilities:
Support business development and proposal activities for DOW customer pursuits that utilize Tech7 capabilities coming from the program. Manage and develop supplier relationships, work collaboratively with contracts, procurement, finance and security to negotiate and on-board suppliers onto the contract or form teaming agreements for proposal pursuit. Travel based on business and customer needs.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or Management. Master's degree desired. 10+ years of experience in government contracting, acquisition, or program management, preferably in the DoD. Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
PMP certification or DAU Level III certification in Program Management. Experience working directly with Space Systems Command. Experience in a fast-paced, small business or agile program environment. Experience in a technical role or project manager role within a complex Milcomm and/or PNT program. Experience working with non-USSF agencies that are involved in Milcomm or PNT missions.
Clearance:
Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI access granted. Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Annual Pay Transparency Range:
$187,864.00
