We're seeking an engaging facilitator to serve as our part-time STEM Program Specialist to implement STEM related programming for elementary aged girls across the council. In this rewarding role, you'll deliver fun, hands-on learning opportunities for girls to learn about STEM in our related programming. You'll also help keep our STEM supplies organized for future events, and may help with other girl scout programming as available and needed. If you have a passion for sciences and want to help the next generation of girls explore that through meaningful experiences, this is your chance to have a great impact! What You'll Do Implement STEM related programming across the Dakota-Horizons council in both indoor and outdoor settings (depending on weather!). Engage with youth members, their parents, volunteers, and community partners to ensure positive, safe experiences throughout the camps and programming. Instruct groups of elementary aged girls (K-5) in STEM related activities, fueling their curiosity in STEM! Direct and work alongside volunteers to deliver positive camp experiences for the girls. Support Girl Scout camps and programs (non STEM-related) as available and upon request. What You Bring Associate's Degree in related field, or equivalent youth program delivery experience. Teaching, instruction, or camp experiences leading youth highly preferred. Valid First Aid / CPR certifications, or willingness to obtain certifications. Genuine passion and enthusiasm for the Girl Scout mission. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Valid driver's license and willingness to regularly travel within the Midwest. Pay, Schedule, and Work Environment $20.00

• $22.00 per hour, depending on qualifications Eligible for cell phone reimbursement
• approximately $30/month value. Part-time, year-round schedule of 20-25 hours per week. Opportunity to continue full-time during summer months if desired. Typical work schedule Monday-Friday daytime afternoon/after school hours, occasional weekend programming hours. Hybrid work environment (3 days in office/camps, 2 days work from home) Frequent regional travel required for programming
• many will be day trips, occasional overnight stays required.

Position based in Sioux Falls, SD but will travel throughout North and South Dakota.
