Job Description
This position is for an Associate position with Youth Commission International (YCI) serving under it's YCInterim Program . YCInterim provides interim youth ministry staffing to local churches in staffing transition. Each local church is assigned a Director who oversees the youth ministry programming as well as a Program Lead who executes the weekly student ministry program. The Program Lead role functions as a paid internship for a person who feels called to serve as a vocational youth pastor. Under the guidance of a veteran youth pastor, the Program Lead will receive practical training, leadership development opportunities, as well as regular opportunities to practice the skills necessary for success in youth ministry.
Responsibilities:
Employee's responsibilities include and are not limited to the following: Prepare for and execute weekly youth program at assigned YCInterim partner church under the guidance of YCInterim Multisite Director. Attend Monday morning staff meeting via Google Meet to debrief weekly programming, receive tasks and assignments for upcoming week, and prepare for upcoming events and trips with other YCInterim staff members. Assist YCInterim Multisite Director to plan, attend and execute events for YCInterim partner churches including outreach events, discipleship weekends, summer camps, etc. Attend meetings with leadership of assigned church when needed (typically once a semester). Connect weekly with assigned YCInterim Site Director to debrief weekly programming at assigned churches. Assist with sermon series preparation as assigned by YCInterim Director, typically one or two sermons a semester. Visit Bible clubs located near assigned YCInterim partner church as well as clubs with a significant presence of YCInterim partner church's youth population. Ensure that each Bible club follows the YCI model and provide direction and correction as needed.Requirements:

- Regular attendance in a local church
